Geothermal Heating Services
Heating and cooling powered by the earth itself.
While most heating and cooling systems work against the weather, running harder when it’s hottest or coldest outside, geothermal systems take a different approach. They draw on the earth’s natural, stable temperature to deliver consistent comfort regardless of what’s happening above ground.
Is Geothermal Right For You?
What to consider.
A geothermal system that’s well-matched to your property and goals will outperform almost any other heating and cooling option available. These are the factors our team considers when helping homeowners decide if it’s the right direction.
Geothermal Benefits
The advantages of a geothermal system don’t diminish over time. In fact, in most cases, they become more apparent as energy costs rise and the system continues to perform well beyond the lifespan of traditional alternatives. Here’s what you can expect.
Consistent Comfort
Because geothermal systems draw on the earth’s stable underground temperature rather than outdoor air, their efficiency doesn’t fluctuate with the weather. Your home stays consistently comfortable regardless of season.
Energy Efficiency
Geothermal systems consume significantly less energy than traditional HVAC systems, lowering utility bills in a meaningful way from the first season forward.
Long Lifespan
The indoor components of a geothermal system typically last 25 years or more with proper maintenance. The ground loops buried beneath your property can last 50 years or longer, making geothermal one of the most durable heating and cooling investments available.
Low Maintenance
Because the majority of a geothermal system’s components are located indoors or underground, they’re protected from the weather and debris that cause wear on traditional systems. Routine professional maintenance is still recommended, but the overall maintenance burden is lower than most alternatives.
Environmental Sustainability
Geothermal systems produce no greenhouse gas emissions and draw entirely on a renewable energy source: the earth’s natural heat. For homeowners committed to reducing their environmental impact without sacrificing comfort or efficiency, geothermal is among the strongest options available.
What To Expect
Site Assessment
Before any work is proposed, we visit your property to evaluate the available space, soil conditions, and existing systems. That assessment gives us everything we need to determine the right loop configuration and system size for your home, and to put together a proposal that reflects your actual situation rather than a general estimate.
System Design and Proposal
Once we understand your property, we’ll walk you through our recommended system design in plain terms, including the loop configuration, the equipment, the installation timeline, and the full cost. We won’t move forward until you understand exactly what’s involved and feel confident in the plan.
Installation & Connection
The ground loops are installed first, and our team manages it carefully to minimize disruption to your property throughout the process. Once the ground loops are in place, we connect them to the indoor heat pump and air handler and commission the full system. We test every component thoroughly and we walk you through the system’s operation.
